The staff were genuinely friendly, making my experience feel welcoming from the start. Upon arrival, the welcome drink was a nice touch, and the wine selection during dinner didn't disappoint-both experiences elevated the evening. My room, while not extravagant, had all the essentials, plus a flat-screen TV and efficient heating for those chilly nights. I did find myself wishing for a few more hooks to hang my ski gear-just a little practicality that would've made life easier. Housekeeping was attentive, ensuring everything was clean and tidy. As a marine biologist, I often prioritize functionality over opulence, and I found Alpine Forest striking a good balance there. Dining options included excellent sushi, crafted by a talented chef, which was a pleasant surprise. For nature lovers and adventure seekers, it's smart to prioritise location and experience over sheer luxury!
